Step 1

Before you install

A few seconds of prep saves frustration.

Stay on Wi-Fi

Install with a stable connection so the profile downloads cleanly.

Don't interrupt

Activation can take a minute. Don't close the screen mid-install.

Give it a label

A unique name helps you spot this eSIM among other SIMs.

Choose for data

After install, set this eSIM as the line your phone uses for data.

Step 2

Install your eSIM

Pick QR or Manual — you only need one.

Your eSIM QR code lives in your account

When you place an order, your scannable QR code and activation details are added to your eSIM detail page. Use that page during install — not this generic guide.

  1. Open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM

    On the iPhone where you want this eSIM, choose Use QR Code.

  2. Scan the QR code above

    Hold the phone steady until iOS picks it up. Tap Continue when prompted.

  3. Wait for activation

    Activation may take a minute. Don't exit the screen — iOS will say Done when ready.

  4. Label your new eSIM

    Pick a name like "Yoho — Japan" so you can tell it apart later.

  5. Pick a default line

    Select Primary as your default line for calls, FaceTime, and iMessage.

  6. Use this eSIM for Cellular Data

    Choose your new eSIM under Cellular Data, then tap Done.

Step 3

Connect to the network

Once installed, finish these to start using data.

  1. Make sure the eSIM is on

    Settings → Cellular → your new eSIM → Turn On This Line.

  2. Select the eSIM for data

    Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data → choose your new eSIM.

  3. Pick for calls and texts

    Settings → Cellular → Default Voice Line → choose your new eSIM.

  4. Turn on Data Roaming

    Settings → Cellular → your new eSIM → enable Data Roaming.

Ingen internetforbindelse efter installation?
  1. Tjek Dataroaming: Sørg for, at Dataroaming er aktiveret for Yoho eSIM-linjen
  2. Tjek foretrukken datalinje: Sørg for, at Yoho eSIM er indstillet som den foretrukne linje for Mobildata
  3. Genstart telefonen: En genstart efter installation løser de fleste forbindelsesproblemer
  4. Vælg et teleselskab manuelt: Hvis automatisk forbindelse mislykkes, kan du prøve at vælge et lokalt teleselskab manuelt

QR-scanning bliver ved med at mislykkes?
  • Sørg for, at QR code-billedet er klart og fuldstændigt
  • Juster afstand og vinkel, prøv igen i god belysning
  • Hvis det bliver ved med at mislykkes, skal du skifte til manuel indtastning
  • Hver QR code kan kun installeres én gang – hvis du allerede har installeret den, skal du ikke scanne igen
Kan jeg flytte eSIM til en ny telefon?
  • De fleste eSIMs kan ikke overføres mellem enheder. Hvis du har skiftet telefon, skal du kontakte support for at få udstedt aktiveringskoden igen
