What is an eSIM ?
eSIM is a digital SIM that is pre-installed on your smartphone. It allows you to activate an additional cellular plan on your phone with a simple download from carriers. Your device will detect a new eSIM in your device and be able to use it right away.
Do I need to provide any document to identify when buying a YOHO eSIM ?
No. You can easily purchase an eSIM directly on the YOHO eSIM website. You only need to choose the eSIM data plan and place your order. And then, you will receive a QR code via email.
How can I determine if my iOS device is eSIM compatible and carrier unlocked?
Step 1: Navigate to Settings > General > About on your iOS device.Step 2: Scroll down to locate the “Carrier Lock” section. If it displays “NO SIM restrictions,” this indicates that your device is unlocked.Step 3: Continue scrolling down to access the “DIGITAL SIM” section. If it contains a “DIGITAL SIM” IMEI, it signifies that your device is eSIM compatible.

To verify eSIM support on your device, you’ll need to find its “eSIM IMEI” number using the following steps:
For Samsung devices:Step 1: Access Settings > About phone > Status information.Step 2: Tap on “IMEI information.” If the “IMEI (eSIM)” is present, your device supports eSIM.For other Android devices:Dial *#06# and press the call button.If your device is eSIM capable, you should be able to view its eSIM unique identification number (EID).
Is it better to purchase my YOHO eSIM before my trip or after I reach my destination?
For your convenience, we recommend purchasing the eSIM before your departure. This allows you to install it on your phone prior to your trip, activate it as soon as you arrive at your destination, and ensure immediate connectivity.
What does the error message “Data Plan Cannot Be Added” mean?
This error typically signifies that the QR code’s unique activation code has already been utilized. It suggests that the eSIM profile has previously been added, either by you, another user, or both. To verify if your eSIM has been activated, please follow these steps:For iPhone users:1. Open Settings.2. Go to Cellular.3. Select Cellular Plans.For Android device users:1. Access Settings.2. What should I do if the eSIM is stuck activating on my iOS device?
From time to time, an eSIM may encounter a delay during the activation process on an iOS device. This situation typically arises when you’ve already installed an eSIM but haven’t reached your destination country or region yet. It’s essential to note that even if your eSIM displays “activating” or “activation failure,” it is fully set up and ready for activation.You can be confident that the activation process will finalize once you’ve reached your destination and are within the network coverage area. We’ve provided some reference screenshots to illustrate this.It’s worth mentioning that even if the eSIM seems stuck in the “activating” phase, you can still use other device features that don’t depend on network connectivity. Once you arrive at your destination and your device is within the network coverage area, the eSIM should activate successfully, enabling you to use it as intended.If you have any questions or require assistance, please feel free to reach out to our support team. When can I install my eSIM?
In order to know when you can install your eSIM, you must be aware of the activation policy. Most eSIMs you can install it immediately. It will only activate at the destination once they connect to a supported network or any of the supported networks.On the other hand, there are eSIMs that will activate instantly as soon as they are installed, regardless of the location. Is WiFi Hotspot / Internet Sharing included with eSIM data packages?
Wi-Fi Hotspot / Internet Sharing is currently available using our eSIM data plans in this country , Wi-Fi Hotspot / Internet Sharing may work in some locations. (Please read product description, to check if your eSIM plan support hotspot,)

1. Unlimited Data Plans with no “fair use policy” or daily data cap at all, and make it a Ture unlimited plan e.g.:Japan.
2. Unlimited data at 5Mbps until 30 GB has been consumed in 30 days, and unlimited data at 1Mbps after that. ( This Unlimited Data Plans are intended for travelers and mobile businesspeople who need reliable access to their apps and communications while roaming. They are not intended for high frequency or intense data usage, automated or machine usage, or large file transfers.)
Can you activate an eSIM on more than one device?
Each eSIM can be installed on only one device. If you have other devices that need mobile data, you have two options: Turn on Mobile Hotspot / Internet Sharing on your phone (if supported in your country), and connect your other devices using the broadcasted Wi-Fi network. Purchase an additional eSIM for each extra device.
How to install YOHO MOBILE’s eSIM?

Does Yoho Mobile record your Internet activity or location?
We do not record your device location or web browsing activity. Your browsing activity is completely private. As required by law, we keep records containing only the time, data (Megabytes) consumed, and cellular provider of each data connection.
Can I keep using my phone number with an eSIM?
Yes
Can you make calls with an eSIM?
Yes.After activating a Yoho Mobile eSIM, your original SIM is still available for send and receive calls and text messages (SMS).
Will I get a local phone number with an eSIM?
Most Our eSIM plans do not include a local phone number, you can make calls through Whatsapp or other apps. On the other hand, there are eSIMs that provide with an local numbers, it will be shown on the eSIM product page – ‘description’.

How to activate an eSIM manually
IOS: – Go to Setting – Go to Cellular – Go to ‘Add Data plan’.– Press ‘Enter Details manually’ -Enter \’SM-DP+Address & Activation Code\’ you received at purchase –Press ‘Add Data plan’. Your SIM has been installed.
Android: – Go to Settings -Connections -SIM Card Manager -Add Mobile Plan -Scan Carrier QR Code -Enter \’SM-DP+Address & Activation Code\’ you received at purchase. -Your SIM has been installed.

APN for other countries: yohoFor iOS devices: 1. Go to Settings. 2. Tap on Cellular or Mobile Data. 3. Select your eSIM. 4. Navigate to Cellular Data Network. 5. Enter the required APN settings.
For Samsung Phones:1. Open Settings.2. Choose Connections.3. Go to Mobile Networks.4. Select Access Point Name.5. Tap the Add button on the top bar.6. Provide the necessary APN details.
For Google Pixel Phones:1. Access Settings.2. Go to Network & internet.3. Choose SIMs.4. Select your eSIM.5. Navigate to Access Point Names.6. Tap the + button on the top bar.7. Enter the APN settings with the specified name.
Where can I view my data usage?
You can view your current data usage any time by logging into your My account. Simply go to My eSIM and check your Data Usage under the corresponding eSIM.However For Certain plans usage tracking not avalaible and it shown in the description. We are still working on it to make these promotion plans better.
How secure is eSIM data?

Unable activate? No data?
There could be two areas where the eSIM installation and activation is not functioning as expected:Please take only 3-5mins to walk through these different scenarios with you:Scenario 1: Trouble with eSIM installation1. Check your device compatible or unlock phone:eSIM-compatible devices list2. Change Network Connection: First, switch to another network connection and try again. This initial step is crucial for troubleshooting.Scenario 2: No Data or Connectivity Issues After Successful Installation and Activation1. Stuck at activating: After activating the eSIM, it may take 5-45 minutes for it to establish connectivity.2. Enable eSIM Line: Ensure that you’ve enabled the eSIM line in your Cellular Settings and set it as the default for Cellular Data.3. Enable Data Roaming: Go to Settings > Cellular, select your eSIM profile, and make sure “Data Roaming” is switched ON.4. Airplane Mode Reset: Turn on Airplane Mode for 30 seconds, then turn it off to reset your connectivity settings.5. Check APN Settings: verify that your Access Point Name (APN) settings are correct. Configure them if needed.6. Restart Your Phone: If none of the above steps work, try turning your phone off and then restarting it.Contact Customer Support: If you’ve checked all these points and your eSIM plan still isn’t working, there may be technical issues with the eSIM or the vendor. To safeguard your rights and provide peace of mind when purchasing Tourist eSIMs from YOHO MOBILE, we’ve implemented a “Exchange, Cancellation, and Refund” policy for situations where you receive the incorrect product or encounter issues due to our mistakes.
Exchange PolicyIf you receive an eSIM that doesn’t match your order, YOHO MOBILE is committed to assisting you in exchanging the eSIM within 24 hours.Should you have successfully purchased an eSIM and wish to switch to a different type, please reach out to us via our 24/7 Hotline/WhatsApp at + or email us at support@yohomobile.com. If your change request is approved, you’ll be able to exchange your eSIM for another one.
Cancellation and RefundShould you need to cancel your order for any reason, you can do so without incurring any penalties as long as you do it before making the payment or before receiving your eSIM QR Code.Once your eSIM QR code has been delivered, cancellation is no longer possible. A refund can only be issued if there’s an error in our eSIM that has been reported to our Support Team but cannot be resolved.If you can’t locate the eSIM email in your primary inbox, please check your email’s spam or promotion folder or contact us for assistance. Failure to do so will result in no refund.Refunds will be processed using the same payment method (e.g., PayPal) you used for the purchase. The refund process may take up to 10 business days.Please remember that in all cases, YOHO MOBILE is committed to providing you with prompt support!
How long it takes to receive the eSIM after purchase?
With YOHO MOBILE eSIM service, once you’ve placed your order and successfully completed the payment process, you can expect to receive your eSIM via email within a maximum of 15 minutes. If there are any unexpected delays in delivering the eSIM or providing the service, YOHO MOBILE will promptly notify you and offer the option to cancel the contract if you choose to do so. To ensure timely delivery, please make sure to provide the correct email address. If you haven’t received any emails from YOHO MOBILE within 5 to 15 minutes after making your payment, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Customer Support team.
