Step 1

Before you install

A few seconds of prep saves frustration.

Stay on Wi-Fi

Install with a stable connection so the profile downloads cleanly.

Don't interrupt

Activation can take a minute. Don't close the screen mid-install.

Give it a label

A unique name helps you spot this eSIM among other SIMs.

Choose for data

After install, set this eSIM as the line your phone uses for data.

Step 2

Install your eSIM

Pick QR or Manual — you only need one.

Your eSIM QR code lives in your account

When you place an order, your scannable QR code and activation details are added to your eSIM detail page. Use that page during install — not this generic guide.

  1. Open Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM

    On the iPhone where you want this eSIM, choose Use QR Code.

  2. Scan the QR code above

    Hold the phone steady until iOS picks it up. Tap Continue when prompted.

  3. Wait for activation

    Activation may take a minute. Don't exit the screen — iOS will say Done when ready.

  4. Label your new eSIM

    Pick a name like "Yoho — Japan" so you can tell it apart later.

  5. Pick a default line

    Select Primary as your default line for calls, FaceTime, and iMessage.

  6. Use this eSIM for Cellular Data

    Choose your new eSIM under Cellular Data, then tap Done.

Step 3

Connect to the network

Once installed, finish these to start using data.

  1. Make sure the eSIM is on

    Settings → Cellular → your new eSIM → Turn On This Line.

  2. Select the eSIM for data

    Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data → choose your new eSIM.

  3. Pick for calls and texts

    Settings → Cellular → Default Voice Line → choose your new eSIM.

  4. Turn on Data Roaming

    Settings → Cellular → your new eSIM → enable Data Roaming.

Troubleshooting

Fără internet după instalare?
  1. Verifică Data Roaming: Asigură-te că Data Roaming este activat pentru linia Yoho eSIM
  2. Verifică linia de date preferată: Asigură-te că Yoho eSIM este setat ca linie preferată pentru Mobile Data
  3. Repornește telefonul: O repornire după instalare rezolvă majoritatea problemelor de conectare
  4. Alege un operator manual: Dacă conectarea automată eșuează, încearcă să selectezi un operator local manual

- iPhone: Settings › Cellular › linia Yoho › Network Selection › dezactivează "Automatic" › alege un operator disponibil

- Android: Settings › Connections › Mobile networks › Network operators › Selectează manual

Scanarea QR eșuează constant?
  • Asigură-te că imaginea codului QR este clară și completă
  • Ajustează distanța și unghiul, încearcă din nou într-o lumină bună
  • Dacă tot nu funcționează, treci la introducerea manuală
  • Fiecare cod QR poate fi instalat o singură dată — dacă l-ai instalat deja, nu-l scana din nou
Pot muta eSIM-ul pe un telefon nou?
  • Majoritatea eSIM-urilor nu pot fi transferate între dispozitive. Dacă ai schimbat telefonul, contactează serviciul de asistență pentru a reemite codul de activare
  • Unele planuri acceptă reinstalarea prin aplicația Yoho Mobile
