eSIM Installation Guide
Install in 3 minutes, auto-activate on arrival
Install over WiFi before you fly
Your eSIM starts counting validity only when it first connects to a local network. Installing early does not waste any days.
Pick your device
Before Departure: Install
Do this over WiFi at home or the airport, takes just minutes
- SettingsCellular
Open Settings, go to Cellular (or Mobile Data)
- Add eSIM
Tap "Add eSIM" or "Add Cellular Plan"
- Use QR Code
Choose "Use QR Code" and scan the QR code from Yoho Mobile
Confirm and label it as "Yoho" or "Travel" so it's easy to spot
Tip: Keep this eSIM line off for now — turn it on after you arrive at your destination
On Arrival: Activate
Enable the eSIM after you land and it'll connect automatically
- SettingsCellular / SIM Manager
Open Settings → Cellular (iPhone) or SIM Manager (Android)
Turn ON the Yoho eSIM line
Set Yoho eSIM as the preferred line for Mobile Data
Turn ON Data Roaming
Important: Critical! Without Data Roaming enabled the eSIM won't connect. iPhone: Cellular → select Yoho → Data Roaming. Android: Connections → SIM Manager → select Yoho → Data Roaming.Wait a few seconds — your phone will connect to a local carrier automatically
Important Notes
Install early
Install over WiFi before you leave so you're not stuck without internet on arrival
Keep your physical SIM
The eSIM doesn't affect your physical SIM — keep it for calls and texts from home
Manage data usage
After arrival, turn OFF Data Roaming on your home SIM and use only the Yoho eSIM for data
When validity starts
Most plans start counting validity from the first connection to a local network
